The utility poles in town aren't only used to hold up power
lines. They are also used to support nests off the ground
( as you can see in the below photo).



We have an approximately 100 hectare fish farm
right outside of town. So it appears for this reason
we are graced with the presence of these birds.



I have seen 6 such nests throughout the town (there
is probably more). At this time the babies are starting
to poke their heads out of their nests.

It's a pretty cool thing to see while walking down the
street.
